

School closure
Dear Parents/Carers,
We have been notified by the Local Authority that the weather warning for tomorrow has been upgraded to RED. Therefore we have been advised to close the school for staff and pupils.The school will deliver online/remote learning via Seesaw and Google Classroom for pupils on Friday 18th February.We hope you all have a lovely half term and look forward to seeing you back in school on Tuesday 1st March.

INSET DAYS REMINDER
Dear Parents/Carers,
I have attached the INSET DAYS again for your information. This message was sent out at the end of the last academic year in July and although there is no change to the remaining days already planned please note the January INSET day has now been rearranged due to the Welsh Government Covid advice at the start of Jan 2022. This will now take place on Tuesday 26th April 2022.In addition, the school will be closed on Monday 6th June in lieu of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

Cefn Season message for Y6 parents

Dear Parent/Carer of Year 6 pupils,
We would like to invite you and your child to our Virtual Transition Evening which will take place on Thursday 14th October from 5pm – 6pm.
During this time we will give you the opportunity to see:
- A virtual tour of the school
- Departments/Areas of Learning and the Learning and Teaching within the school
- Our Wellbeing and Additional Needs provision and support
- Opportunities for your child to develop through enrichment experiences which are at the heart of our school
In addition to the evening, over the coming term, your child will have the opportunity to ask questions to our pupils and staff through virtual meetings during their school day.
